An update from the team at The New Inn

It has certainly been a crazy few months. Needless to say, we have really missed being open and seeing all of our wonderful guests.
We excitedly opened our doors on the 4th of July with a range of safety measures so you can visit and stay at the pub with confidence.
We do ask you to bear with us as the current guidelines are a well-publicised challenge. We are working to these the best we can in the circumstances.
Obviously, the situation is changing frequently so we will keep you updated on our plans via our social media pages.
So far, we can confirm:
  • We will be taking part in the Governments Eat Out to Help Out Scheme.
  • We will be launching our app so you can order directly
  • We are offering 20% off accommodation and meals for NHS frontline workers.
  • Flexible booking, book now and we will ensure you can move the date if you need to.
  • Although numbers are limited our campsite is fully open, our charges are £6 per person, per night with the option to book for breakfast.

Beer Fest 2015

Beer Fest 2015. Friday 20th November – Sunday 22nd November.

Planning is currently underway for our 21st annual beer festival, if last year is anything to go by it will be a fantastic event with a large marquee turned into a real ale lover’s paradise. We are still planning, so the details have yet to be confirmed. We will hopefully have over 80 Real Ales, traditional ciders and Continental beers available all weekend.

All the beers are carefully selected from different microbreweries from across the UK and lagers from across the world.

To make the most of the weekend you can stay with us, accommodation is available at in the pub either bed and breakfast or self-catering. We also provide camping and caravan space in the grounds of the brewery (what better?).

Booking is advisable for both, as space is limited.

As well as the flowing ale we will also have live music every day.

As beer is best accompanied by food we will also be serving traditional pub grub across the weekend.

£2.50 per person, per trip. Please pay the driver.

From Pickering

Friday 20th November:
Departing No. 4 Bar, Pickering:
6pm, 7pm, 8pm. Returning after last band.
Saturday 21st November:
Departing No. 4 Bar, Pickering, Calling at The Sun Inn Pickering: 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 5.30pm, 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm.
Returning to Pickering after last band.

From Kirkbymoorside

Friday 20th November:
Departing Chemist Bus Stop: 7.30pm. Returning after last band.
Saturday 21st November:
Departing Chemist Bus Stop: 7.30pm. Returning to Pickering after last band
There will also be transport running to Pickering from 10am from Cropton for any campers!
