The 2023 Cropton Beer Festival will take place between Friday 17th to Sunday 19th November. If last year is anything to go by it will be a fantastic event with our large marquee turned into a beer lover’s paradise. This year we will have over 80 Real Ales, craft beers, traditional ciders and lagers available all weekend.

Friday: 6pm – MIDNIGHT
Saturday: Noon – MIDNIGHT
Sunday: Noon – 11pm

Day tickets are just £5 and include a free souvenir glass.

Accommodation & Camping

To make the most of the weekend why not stay with us? Accommodation is available at in the pub, either bed and breakfast or in our self-catering cottage. Due to limited availability, booking is advised. We also provide camping, motor home and caravan space just across the road from the brewery and festival (what could be better!?). Please get in touch to book your space at the campsite.

As well as the flowing ale we will also have live music every day. We will post details about this years bands soon. And, as beer is best accompanied by food we will also be serving traditional pub grub throughout the weekend.

Bus Service

We will be providing a minibus service to and from Pickering on Friday and Saturday. We will post the timetable on this page as soon as we know the exact schedule.

An update from the team at The New Inn

It has certainly been a crazy few months. Needless to say, we have really missed being open and seeing all of our wonderful guests.
We excitedly opened our doors on the 4th of July with a range of safety measures so you can visit and stay at the pub with confidence.
We do ask you to bear with us as the current guidelines are a well-publicised challenge. We are working to these the best we can in the circumstances.
Obviously, the situation is changing frequently so we will keep you updated on our plans via our social media pages.
So far, we can confirm:
  • We will be taking part in the Governments Eat Out to Help Out Scheme.
  • We will be launching our app so you can order directly
  • We are offering 20% off accommodation and meals for NHS frontline workers.
  • Flexible booking, book now and we will ensure you can move the date if you need to.
  • Although numbers are limited our campsite is fully open, our charges are £6 per person, per night with the option to book for breakfast.

Only a few more days to go until our 22nd annual beer festival! As usual, we will have dozens of the greatest beers, lagers and traditional ciders available to humanity for you to try. Christmas at The New Inn 2016

We are really looking forward to Christmas this year, its not long until we can all take a breather and spend some quality time with friends and family.

If you would like to take the pressure off on Christmas day then why not join us. There are limited spaces available but it is certainly not to be missed, you can be assured of a warm welcome and a tasty menu.

We are counting down the days to our legendary beer festival, its not long now!!

For those of you who don’t have a “Des” we have put on a bus service from Pickering and Kirkbymoorside to help you get to the festival and back home so you can enjoy our beers and live music to the full.
